When I was younger I became addicted with high-end makeup brands. The only problem was that The Netherlands was a difficult place to get exclusive brands. So everytime when I went on a vacation, I made sure that I had my wish list ready. NARS was always a brand that I had to get when I had the chance. My first NARS item was their blusher. Then I slowly expanded my collection with their foundations and concealers. Orgasm is maybe one of their most famous shades in their blush collection. Now they came with the Orgasm 2018 Collection #whatmakesyoublush which includes and lip balm, blusher and illuminating loose powder. I never tried the shade Orgasm (only the blusher Super Orgasm which came with many glitter) so now I will have my first orgasm (yikes).
During these cold days we still want to look healthy and glowy. Thanks to the Skin Kiss items from Makeup Revolution we can get an illuminating and tanned skin this autumn. The items I will review today are 3 highlighters and a cream bronzer. I never tried a cream bronzer (only once, but I didn’t have a good experience with it –read here–) so I’m curious if this will work for my skin. No one ever said that they had too many highlighters! I will show you 3 very different shades of the highlighters and they look very similar to a highend brand. Enough talking, let’s see how they work!
It is time for another Makeup Revolution article! This time it is about the Renaissance Collection were I talk about the Renaissance Glow and the Renaissance Palette Night. I was super excited when I received my monthly Makeup Revolution package. As a #therevolutionairies (which is the MUR term of being a Brand Ambassador) I have the opportunity to receive their most famous and beautiful items to test out. The Renaissance Collection is by far the most beautiful collection I received from them, and by seeing the pictures you can see why! Already getting curious if the powders are also that great as the gorgeous packaging?
It is time for another Makeup Revolution review. Today it is about the Vivid Baked Highlighter in the shade Golden Lights. Like I told you before I’m #therevolutionairies of the Makeup Revolution here in The Netherlands, which means I receive a box every month with some of their famous items to review. This month I picked the highlighter because I owned a highlight palette of them before but I forgot actually how amazing they are, and you should know. Even Khloe Kardashian said that the Vivid Baked Highlighter was her favorite (“my cheekbones were so sharp they could cut a bitch“, her words!). You can easily get your Makeup Revolution items at the famous Dutch drugstore called Etos. Curious how well this highlighter works and if it beats my favorite Jeffree Star Skinfrosts? Let’s get started!
Today I’m going to talk about Meraki Cosmetics, a brand created by the Dutch MUA Kim ter Stege! I’m a big supporter of makeup brands which are created by Dutch people, we can support our Dutchies from time to time! They are just hidden treasures under the sea which needs a little bit more attention in my opinion. Kim ter Stege is a super creative makeup artist, you have to check out her Instagram! I follow her for a while and she definitely inspires me (I’m a makeup lover so I will never receive the results she does! :p). She made the big step to create her own makeup brand: Meraki Cosmetics. Isn’t this the cutest name? I received 2 highlighters and 2 samples from Kim. Getting curious? Let’s get started!
