House of Lashes Unboxing

House of Lashes Unboxing

Hii everyone!

Recently, I was contacted by House of Lashes and they are fans of The Beau Parlour! House of Lashes is an amazing brand that creates great, wearable false lashes and the necessary accessories like lash glue, as well as (gorgeous!) cases for storing your lashes. I own a few items from them which I use often in my flatlay pictures. In almost every picture where I’ve included one of their products,  they have been kind enough to repost it! They let me know that they love my content and would  like to send me a few items so that I can include them in my pictures, and share them on Instagram! Wait, what?! They love my pictures and that’s why they are willing  to send their products? It’s not that I’m a MUA or that I post makeup looks very very often… It’s just me and my love of taking flatlay pictures? I feel so honored that they’ve approached me!  I’m so excited! So, let’s check out which products they chose to send me!

Kylie Cosmetics Gloss

Kylie Cosmetics Gloss

Hii everyone!

I couldn’t resist! I had to place another Kylie Cosmetics order! I just had to grab another few colors for my collection. Recently, Kylie Cosmetics released some new colors and textures. Exposed and the Dead of Knight are the new matte colors. The company has also launched an entire Gloss and Metal range. I already own several matte colors. However, for research purposes, and for YOU, my lovely readers, I had to try out one of the new products! I chose a Gloss in the color Literally. I’ve honestly never been a gloss girl… As in never, EVER! I used to have a Dior gloss, but I hated the tacky consistency. With that in mind, my sister insisted that I try one of Kylie’s lip glosses because she’d heard they weren’t sticky. Let’s see if this gloss lives up to my standards and if my sister is right!

How I cope with my moms cancer pt.5

How I cope with my moms cancer pt.5

Hii everyone,

It’s been a while since I’ve updated you on my story. A lot has happened since my last post. Some of the news was good, but nothing comes without consequence. To those  who are reading this for the first time, my mom has terminal lung cancer. There is nothing more that modern medicine can do to  attempt to heal her. The option now is to expand the time she still has with us. When she was diagnosed in October 2014, we were told that she would live only for a few months; it’s now June 2016 and she is still here. Not without struggle, however.
