Use HOURGLASS for that flawless makeup look

Hourglass quickly became one of the most wanted brands. Why? Because their products work for everyone. A few years ago I purchased my first Hourglass item in Rome, which was the Ambient Lighting Palette. It creates this beautiful glow on your face and the packaging is goals! I knew that this was the beginning of my longterm relationship with Hourglass, because everytime when they came with something new I had to have it (but my wallet said no). Now I had the opportunity to try their Veil Mineral Primer, Arch Brow Sculpting Pencil and Vanish Seamless Foundation Stick. The 3 must haves to create a perfect base of your makeup look.

Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer Oil Free Broad Spectrum SPF 15

The Veil Mineral Primer is the primer you need when you are a hardworking person that cries a lot because you do so much on a day, or like me you cry during the movies (note: watch Crazy Rich Asians, I could totally relate with the girl) and you walk out of the cinema with striped all over your face. This primer makes you makeup base totally waterproof! Yes, I’m not joking. Everything that you use on top is this Veil Mineral Primer transforms into a super long lasting base for your face.

Beside being waterproof it reduces redness, wrinkles and fine lines and the appearances of pores. When I apply it on my skin I can immediately see my skin transform in front of me. It filled the pores around my nose and my skin looks smooth and has a velvet finish. The amazing thing is that this primer is oil free and I can really fell the difference after application. I have a super oily skin no matter what kind of skincare routine I apply, but the Veil Mineral Primer makes my skin feel calm, velvet and just perfect for my foundation.

If you have sensitive skin or blemish-prone skin, this primer could actually work for you. It offers SPF15 against the sun damaging and strong enough for every kind of weather circumstances.

Hourglass Arch Brow Sculpting Pencil

The Arch Brow Sculpting Pencil in the shade Ash is the best brow product I’ve ever used! Usually your brow routine exist out of multiple steps: pencil, powder and geld. The Arch Brow Sculpting Pencil takes over all of your steps and puts it in this magical pencil! Really, you have to believe. I was first very skeptical but just before I received my Arch Brow Sculpting Pencil I’ve read many great reviews about it. None of them were average or “ok”, they were all excellent!

Fuller and defines brows are just one step away when you have this pencil. The unique triangle shape of the pencil makes it easy to shape the brows and to fill them in. On the other side of the pencil you find a brush that works better than the ABH one (which is the best brow brush I’ve used to far). You can create a natural brush stroke effect or the Instagram sharp brows with this brush. Everything is possible! I just love that when I use this pencil that my brows look so natural but perfect at the same time. The powder somehow works as a gel at the same time because they keep the hairs together the moment your apply it. With only one brush stroke your brows look soft but fierce!

Hourglass Vanish Seamless Foundation Stick

The Vanish Seamless Foundation Stick in the shade Warm Ivory has become one of my favorite foundations in a small amount of time. That only happens with the crème de la crème. A Holy Grail foundation has to pass the following test: is it long lasting? Is the coverage high but not too cakey? Does it comes in many different shades? Easy to use? (and for the diehards: is the packaging cute?). The Vanish Seamless Foundation Stick has all these factors!

The coverage of a concealer but not having that heavy cakey effect on the skin. This foundation stick is everything you need. I’ve never seen a stick that offers such a great formula and als really works well on my skin. The moment you apply it the stick just glides on your skin. I could immediately tell that the color was a great match! With a flat buffer brush I spread the foundation, which is so easy. The temperature of my body makes the foundation less solid then when it sits in the stick, and creates this perfect even canvas on my face. The results are stunning and I can’t remember when I saw my skin looking this flawless without dry patches or anything unnatural. That is how they came with the name: you can’t notice anything but the difference is so big.

I never had a review that I loved all the products that I named in one article. This must be the first time in 2,5 that I’ve been blogging that I can’t pick just one, but all of them as my favorite! Why? Because each of these products are still used while I already own them for 3 months. Most of the time I like to switch my makeup so I can try everything that comes in, but these 3 products became permanent in my daily routine.

It has an amazing gorgeous which feels smooth on the skin, is it super long lasting because it is waterproof (and in combination with the Veil Mineral Primer even more!), super easy to use and they color range is just perfect. It goes a long way and I think it is great especially when you are traveling. Trust me, it is so worth the try!
