When Urban Decay Cosmetics launches a new product I’m always aesthetic: Urban Decay All Nighter Waterproof Full-Coverage Concealer is their newest addition to their family. I’ve heard amazing things about their other concealer (Naked Skin) so you might can imagine that I couldn’t wait to try this one. The All Nighter Waterproof Full-Coverage Concealer is an expansion of their All Nighter Liquid Foundation which received high reviews because of the amazing coverage. I always struggle with dark circles underneath my eyes and they can use some serious coverage. When did Urban Decay launched a product that has not received any love? I think we all can agree that they are surprising us every time with something new.
The Urban Decay All Nighter Waterproof Full-Coverage Concealer (that’s a lot) provides a matte flawless coverage that will last all day and night. The super ultra-pigmented formula will take away all the shine and lasts up to 24 hours on the skin. You will end up with a beautiful, matte and full coverage without making it look cakey. Just like the All Nighter Foundation it will cover up everything and can last every kind of situation. A girl like me who likes to sit on her eyes really needs this in her life. Don’t bother about when you cry for a movie or when it rains, this waterproof formula will stay all day.
What I like the most about the packaging is that is matches perfectly with the All Nighter Foundation. I don’t own it (yet) but it will look pretty when you put them next to each other. The silver metallic packaging gives it a real UD vibe. Not so perfect for my flatlays because metallic usually reflects on my pictures. The cut out shade at the front will give you a peek of the shade inside. To apply the concealer they creates a wand. You can easily apply the concealer by making dots or stripes underneath your eyes or every kind of spot that can use some coverage. If you are afraid of gems, just apply an amount of the back of your hand and then start applying it with a concealer brush or beauty blender. I find it fast and easy to just directly apply it on my skin because I’m always in a rush when I do my makeup during the weekdays.
I received two shades: Light Warm and Light Neutral. I was not sure which one matched with my skin so I picked these two because they are both light and had a yellow undertone. I was really looking for something that would match with my skin and brightens up my under eye area. Light Warm is more lighter/ivory shade that can be used for underneath the eyes and Light Neutral is for spots because it has a more golden finish. I think that Light Warm is perfect for everyone with a beige/yellow undertone. It covers up the purple/blue area and makes your eyes pop because of the brightness effect. Urban Decay has a range of 14 different shades, so there has to be something that will match your skintone.
The texture of the concealer is a bit thicker than I’m used to with other concealers. This might be because the concealer is waterproof and has matte finish. When there is oil on your skin, the concealer will absorb it to create that flawless matte skin. That’s why I won’t really recommend it if you have really dry skin around your eyes. The thick texture will fill up all the fine lines, I was surprised that my skin didn’t look cakey after the application. If you have dry to normal skin I advise you to use a damp beauty blender to blend out the concealer. Even with my oily skin I had a hard time to even out the concealer, but when I was finished my skin looked even and smooth!
Then it was about time to try it out! I’m that kind of person that likes to draw an triangle under her eyes. Sometimes I draw some stripes and the next day I make a triangle that is all filled in, depending on what kind of look I want to achieve or how much time I have left(subtle or popping that brightness!). I use my Beauty Blender dry (!) because I want to achieve that full coverage underneath my eyes and my skin always gets oily, so I never make it damp (and I’m too lazy to walk to the sink, does someone recognize this?). I start to making patting motions on my skin and move the blender from the left to the right and back. The under eye area instantly starts to glow up when I do this: dark circles are hidden underneath the concealer and fine lines are less visible. Make sure that you blend the concealer all the way to your hairline to create that contoured look.
To make the concealer sit all day I use the Translucent Powder by Laura Mercier. With the blender I apply a tiny bit under my eyes and start patting it until there is no shiny left from the concealer. My under eye area looks even, matte and highlighted. There is no trace of my dark circles, they are all well-hidden. My skin does look a bit cakey now but luckily we have a finishing makeup spray! Use that if you want to set your makeup or make your skin less powdery. I prefer to keep my concealer how it is because after a few hours my skin will get oily and the dry/powdery effect will disappear.
I’ve used the All Nighter Concealer during any occasion: all day of work, gym sessions and shopping. During these events I always have oily skin or touch my inner corners of my eyes (to scoop out that eye poop, hehehe). My concealer still looks amazing and the dark circles are nowhere to be seen. I do have to say that underneath one eye there is a small fine line that starts to appear. The concealer is starting to crease in the line but I always have that with the right eye. Nothing new for me and less visible than when I wear my other (famous) concealers.
Overall I’m really happy with the concealer and during the time that I was testing it I already came half way through the product! That is how much I used and love this concealer. The easy and fast application makes this a great concealer when you are in a rush. Just apply some strokes and blend it out with whatever you prefer. The coverage is amazing: it hides the dark circles, fine lines and literally stays all day and night. It even survives rain and sweat. I never had to touch up my under eye area with powder during the day because it still looked fresh and matte. I think we may found the best concealer?
The only thing that may change your mind is that the texture is thicker than other concealer. You will need some extra time to blend it out, but the results will blow you away! Also, if you have dry skin I recommend you to blend out your concealer with a damp beauty blender or with your fingers. It may will make your skin look cakey, but otherwise you can always use a makeup fixing spray to make your skin look glowy again.
Is this something I would repurchase? Yes definitely. It works on my skin, they have the perfect shade for my skin and it really stays all day and night! From now on I never have to worry about hiding my dark circles.

Oehhh I love me some urban! I love their products
Im using Nars Radiant Creamy concealer at the moment, but am not blown away by it. Specially considering the price and the fact that I love my Catrice concealer still beter. Furthermore I started to purchase only (new) make up from cruelty-free brans. So I am searching for a new high-end concealer and this just might be it. Thanks for the review
