A while ago I received an unexpected package from Wishformula! They were so kind to me to send me their new product I’m Pro Ampoule Pad to test out together with tons of other goodies. Thank you so much Wishformula <3 I’m always into new skincare items, especially when it’s from a Korean brand! My skin continuously changes every season (usually from combination to oily), so it was such a great timing when I received these ampoule pads. I didn’t own an ampoule item before so I’m curious what the results are. Let’s get started!
Wishformula is a Korean Skincare brand which makes its products by natural processing unlike other chemical cosmetics. It says that if you produce without any chemical processing, it will maximize the active ingredients while removing harmful toxins and allergy inducing materials. Wishformula sells its products on Wishformula.me and Instagram (you can order by sending a DM).
What is Ampoule Pad?
Groundbreaking Pad & Concentrated Ampoule technology with Patent, it is a Home Spa Product which gives maximized absorption and transmission into the skin.
A quick word on ampoules, because they’re in the same family as essences and serums. An ampoule is a supercharged serum with higher concentrations of active ingredients that you’re meant to use for a finite amount of time as a booster or when you’re having a skin crisis of some sort (source:fashionista.com).
The Ampoule Pad from Wishformla will be the perfect first step for your skincare routine. This ampoule will give you the brightening effect to achieve that glowy effect. The antioxidation and the Vitamin C in this pad will protect your skin from the harsh environment and last but not least it will boost your skin vitality.
I never used an ampoule before, or did I ever know which step this was in the Korean skincare regime. Oh yes, call me a noobie! I really had to look it up before I started to use this. Now I will never forget it and maybe going to use this in my daily skincare routine, that’s how much I love this step!
The box I received contains 10 sachet with the ampoule pad. I was surprised how many sachets they included in the box because brands usually only put 6/8 products in a box. Enough material to test this product well! The packaging makes it look luxurious, even tho this is a really affordable brand.
The directions are quiet easy:
- Balance out the skin by using toner after cleansing
- Place the Ampoule Pad band between the fingers and apply all over the face. Tap the Ampoule Pad onto the skin to absorb better
- 1 min later, massage the remaining ampoule into the skin
Did I already mentioned how easy this ampoule pad is when you are traveling? No struggles anymore with your liquids and it is easy to take it with you, it can fit everywhere! I like to use my ampoule pad on my day off, so it really has the time to absorb into the skin so it is prepped for the next skincare steps.
So I finished cleaning and toning my face (I like to use the Rice Cleansing Oil by The Face Shop and Kiehl’s Calendula Toner). Just rip the packaging and get the pad out of the sachet. The pad is the perfect size: two fingers fit underneath the cloth band, just enough grip to make circular motions with the pad! Well, I like to make circular motions but you also can use the pad to tap it onto your face. Don’t forget your neck, it also needs love and hydration. After I applied it with the pad, I let the ampoule absorb into my skin. I followed the direction to tap your face a bit, I find it really satisfying when I do this. Why did I never do this before?
I had those days that I stayed at home all day and only used the ampoule and days that I combined it with other skincare items. Because I have (super) oily skin, I think it is better for me to use the ampoule only on my days off as a treatment. The other times my skin tend to shine a bit faster, it doesn’t like layers of skincare. But oh well, my skin felt super hydrated! Your skin will look a bit like plastic after a while when the ampoule has dries up but the results are noticeable even after 2 days. My skin feels hydrated and it looks more even.
As an oily skin girl, I love to use this on my days off because it can make my skin a bit more slippery when I pair it with my other skincare items and makeup on top. Luckily we have blotting papers and powder to remove the excess oil from your face, for everything there is a solution! I prefer using this on days when I’m lazy because this ampoule has the right amount of hydration and care to make your skin feel fabulous the whole day (when I stay inside). Mt skin feels super hydrated, it really does look brighter after using it several timer and it feels like a gentle peeling because of the Vitamin C.
I can recommend people with dry/combination skin to use this like every moment of the day! They won’t have a problem with the aftermath of the hydration of the ampoule and will enjoy the extra hydration boost they receive when using this. Oily skin people have to look out, just be careful with using the right amount of product when you don’t want to end up with a super oily face. Or else prepare yourself with your life saviours like blotting papers, translucent powder or a makeup wipe tissue. It makes your skin feel hydrated, glowy and after a while it even looks more bright! I would love to use another box when this one starts to get empty. Beside that, I will definitely try to find another ampoule product that suits oily skin people.
Thanks again to Wishformula for testing this product <3

Ooo this sounds interesting! I’ve only heard of exfoliating pads before, but these sound like a great way to massage your face and hydrate it at the same time! I have the brightening ampoules from Naruko that come in a tiny bottle, which I think are pretty common. I like these though and I’ll need to look into these, thanks for sharing!
Ahh and I see that your cat has made a cameo! 😍😍

This was also totally new for me! First I was like: why do they make a pad? A bottle would be much easier. But when I tried it out it was really fun to use and my skin felt really hydrated after this treatment! Thanks for reading honnnn. Lilo says Hi 😀 X
I have very dry skin and I think my skin will love this! You gotta love Asian skincare, they are always years ahead their Western counterparts.
