Beautybox: Lookfantastic October

It is time for another Lookfantastic Beautybox, we are going to take a look at the October box! This month it is all about #LFPAMPER edition: getting ready for Autumn. The season changes everytime of the year, so does your skin. This box will prepare your skin, hair and body for the cold days by pampering yourself with these amazing items. I have to say that this box is my favorite Lookfantastic Beautybox of all time! Wanna know why? Let’s take a look!

If you are not familiar with beautyboxes and the subscriptions that Lookfantastic offers, you can read my previous blogpost here where I explain how they all work. A beautybox is a monthly subscription which offers new goodies each month. The beautiful print on the box is different each month as well, depending on the monthly theme. Beautyboxes are a great way to get to know new brands and to be introduced to items you will never buy.

Lookfantastic always includes a Beautybox guide where they put all the information about all of the items that are inside the box.

Ohhh, another fat ELLE magazine! I missed the magazine at the previous beautybox from the month September, like everyone else. I think it is amazing that they put the ELLE alongside the beauty items.

Oskia Renaissance Mask – O em gee, I LOVE OSKIA! I always wanted to try something out from this brand but it is kind of expensive for me. So happy that they included this mask(!!!) in this box. This award-winning facial mask will give you a glowy and radiant skin. This item is perfect for the cold days when your skin becomes dry or you need that extra glow for a special event. It has AHA and Fruit Acids which will decongest the skin by gently exfoliating away the dead skin cells and impurities. The results are a deep cleansed skin, unclogged pores and an increased radiance on your complexion.

Murad Intensive-C Radiance Peel – This intensive treatment will give your skin an instant glow and brightening. It contains Glycolic Acid (main ingredient of my HG item Alpha-H Liquid Gold!), Vitamin C and Indian Fig to decongest the skin and provide antioxidant protection against free radicals. Murad is also one of those brands I see everywhere but never tried it out. They have different lines that are marked with a color to show what they can do with your skin. I heard amazing things about their yellow and blue line, super excited to try this one out!

Laura Geller Pout Perfection Waterproof Lip Liner – First of all: I’m so lucky to receive this beautiful pinky mauve color (color is called Cabernet)! Ughhh, I usually receive colors I would never wear but this one will instantly go into my handbag. This super long-lasting and creamy lipliner will give your lips coverage and prevent bleeding. Its feather-proof, transfer-resistant formulated so you can enjoy this lipliner without having to worry if it still looks good!

Mio Liquid Yoga – Never heard about this brand before but it’s sounds cute. It is relaxation in a bottle to pour it in you bathtub, too bad that I don’t own one. Does this also work under the shower as a showergel? Well, I still have to try it out. It contains Epsom Salts, Lavender, Arnica and Mandarin to help ease tension and muscular aches, whilst also encouraging an atmosphere of relaxation. Formulated without any chemical nasties, it instant heals your aches and pains and leave you feeling calm and soothed.

Polaar The Genuine Lapland Cream – If you have sensitive lips, this lip balm is your solution! It doesn’t contain any parabens, fragrance or colour, so you can enjoy this lip without having any problem. It contains Polar Berries, Blackberries and Lingon Berries to nourish your lips and protect them against environmental damage. Used it and it feels really nice on the lips. Personally I’m that type of person who loves fragrance when it comes to lip balms, I bet it would smell lovely if they added berries fragrance!

Alterna Caviar Moisture Intense Treatment – I used this treatment once know and it is okay. I didn’t have the feeling that it did much for my hair but maybe I have to use it a few times and let it in for a longer amount of time. This pre-shampoo treatment is brilliant to use on dehydrated hair in need of a moisture boost. It contains Caviar Extract which works to smooth frizzy hair fibres to leave you with glossy and sleek hair!

Overall this box is so much better than the previous beautybox. This box really got me excited to use all the products! I didn’t have that feeling for a long time. I even considerate to end my subscription but then I forgot that I have a 12 month subscription and that I can’t stop it before that time. My favorite item of this month is the Oskia Renaissance Mask and the Laura Geller Lipliner. Those are products I will definitely use and I think everybody will!
