HAUL: Tarte Cosmetics

Hii everyone!

I promised myself to not place any orders anymore in the month May, but this amazing offer came by and I couldn’t resist myself. Tarte Cosmetics had a Friends&Family offer on their official website: everything 30% off! Some items I took are really pretty but some of them are a but useless after I received my order, I was a bit to excited I think. Let’s see what I’ve got!

Tarte Cosmetics is a cruelty free makeup brand that produces amazing makeup items. I can honestly say that they are one of my favorite makeup brands but they are really hard to get here in The Netherlands. On their official website you can order their items or on the Sephora.com webshop. Their official website only sends particular items to The Netherlands, so their Sea collection was not available for us Ducthies except for one item. When you order Tarte Cosmetics on Sephora.com you can order everything from their range, don’t know why they wouldn’t aloud everything on their own website.

When you order more than €111,- you receive free shipping, otherwise you have to pay €15,95 shipping fee. It took 3 weeks before my order arrived at my place. I had to pay €37,- customs cost because my order was more than €21,-. You also have the possibility to pay the customs cost directly to Tarte Cosmetics, but when you don’t do that you still have a chance that they won’t catch you.

Tartelette Amazonian Clay Matte Palette €29,40 instead of €42,- This was the most hardest decission I have ever made. I didn’t know which palette to choose: the Tartelette or the Tartelette in Bloom. This one is with only matte colors and the other contains a few shimmer. But at the end I made the decision to take the matte palette because I own more shimmer eyeshadows than matte. And to be honest: both palettes are absolutely gorgeous so I am happy to own at least one of them.

Tarteist Lip Paint in TBT €13,30 instead of €19,- A liquid lipstick that dries up as a satin finish. It does leaves a stain behind when you eat and drink but no one will every complain about their lips being dry with this one. This liquid lipstick feels very nourishing and soft and doesn’t make your lips crack. The color is beautiful but I own similar liquid lipsticks with this shade but I hade to try at least one of the Tarteist Lip Paints.

Maracuja Creaseless Concealer in Light Sand and Medium Sand €17,50 instead of €25,- So one of my friends told me that this concealer is a must have. It’s easy to convince me to buy something so I got it without doing research. I bought the light shade for under my eyes and the medium for my spots. If I have to be honest I don’t think it is that amazing. I like it as a concealer for my spots but not for underneath the eyes. It will still crease with or without powder ):

Rainforest of the Sea So Fine Micro Eyeliner in Black€14,70 instead of €21,- The most darkest eyeliner I’ve ever own! Whoaa this is what they call real dark black. It is a really fine eyeliner pen with a velvet tip. The tip itself is really small which is good so I can create fine lines and make the right wing. This was the only item that I could get from the Rainforest of the Sea collection. I already used it several times and it is easy to use and it stays all day! Maybe this will replace my Kat von D liner in the color Trooper, but I can’t say yet that it is better than the Kat vond D.

Airbuki Bamboo Powder Foundation Brush €19,60 instead of €28,- I am so easy to seduce because I don’t need this brush but it looks so cute! Its is a powder foundation brush but I never use a mineral or powder foundation. I’ve tried this brush with a liquid foundation but the results were not amazing. The coverage was horrible and it looked like all the product got stuck into the brush. But it still is a cute brush, maybe for the summer when I use my mineral powder I will grab it but for now it is just decoration.

Because of the Friends&Family offer I received a huge discount. The original price of this total order was  €160,- but I payed €112,- instead. That was also the reason why I did this order because I usually never order directly from webshops that only sells one specific brand but instead I place them on Sephora. But to bad, beside my order I had to pay €37,- customs so that makes it €149 in total. Still beneath the €160 so I can’t complain.

What is your favorite Tarte item?

Tarte is one of the most makeup brands because they are cruelty free and their packaging is always on point! If you consider to buy something I recommend u to look at their blushes 😀

Aw, I can’t believe you ordered Tarte and didn’t get a blush! That is what they are really well-known for. I have Exposed and Blushing Bride (in both powder and cheek stain) and they are super high-quality. Lol I’ve seen that brush before and wondered about it. It’s so cute, that’s a shame that it’s not working for you right now. At least I know I don’t NEED it anymore. 😂

I didnt buy a blush because I already own a palette of it from the Christmas collection 2015 😀 I don’t use it often so thats why I didnt buy a blush that moment. Hahaha the brush is only good for my pictures now, never used it for applying foundation.

I love the maracuja concealer! I find that it creases under my eyes as well but I use a damp beauty blender and it usually fixes it. 🙂 Such a shame the brush didn’t work out!

P.S. I nominated you for the Liebster Award over on my blog! 😀
