Kiehl’s Energizing Radiance Masque

Kiehl’s Energizing Radiance Masque

Hii everyone!

Today I will do my review about the new products launched by Kiehl’s not long ago. I am talking about the Turmeric & Cranberry Seed Energizing Radiance Masque. I saw this product on instagram and in the blogpost from Beautylab by Serena Verbon, and immediately I had to try it. The packaging and the consistencies of this mask made me purchase this jar. Initially I wanted to try out the Glamglow Brightening Mask, but this one was more affordable and lately I have been trying to purchase more items made out of natural ingredients.

The ingredients in this mask are Turmeric and Cranberry. Turmeric is known for its antioxidant and anti-inflammarory properties, which treat skin imperfections and improve the brightness of the skin. Cranberry is rich in antioxidants and natural source of resveratrol. The cranberry seeds will exfoliate the skin and make it more radiant and energized.

The smell is amazing! It has a fruity scent (in my opinion it smells like oranges) that doesn’t smells like chemicals but real natural ingredients. The consistency is a thick kind of clay/mud creme but it is still easy to apply on the face. The seeds are crushed so they will stick on the face and don’t create a irritating feeling on the skin.

First I was concerned about the amount, how many times can I use this jar? I saw that other beauty lovers used a thick layer but I am always frugal with my products. So the first time when I tried this mask I covered my face with a thin layer, my face was totally covered with only a small amount. So this jar of 75ml will be enough to enjoy it for a while.

When you apply it you will feel a tickling sensation on the skin. For me it was a nice feeling but I can understand if you have a very sensitive skin it may feel irritating. It can feel like a burning sensation. Because I only used a thin layer the mask was dried within a second. When I let the mask do it’s work for 5-10 minutes it didn’t crack or peel. With other masks I noticed after a while my shirt would be covered in dust because the mask was starting to crack while I was waiting.

The directions say you have to remove the mask with warm water or you can do it with a warm cloth. I used warm water and it was really easy to remove. When you wet your face with warm water you have to remove the mask in circular motions to let the cranberry seeds do it’s job.

After I removed the mask I didn’t immediately notice any difference. After a while I saw that my face was getting brighter and later in the day my face felt really soft. The next day I noticed that the mask was working into the skin.

I love this mask! I think the seeds are doing an amazing job with exfoliating the skin and my face feels more smooth. The next day I felt like I had a much more radiant skin. I will use this when I need to pamper myself because it takes a lot time to do this (usually I use a sheet mask because it is easier and faster). For the price I think it is a good product.  I am still thinking about purchasing the other mask of Kiehl’s but with the Cilantro & Orange mask, but for now I am very happy with this product!
